“As you begin to act, put yourself in My presence: ‘Jesus is there.’ Then at the end of your action say, ‘My Jesus, I love you,’ and put your heart into it.” 54
“You ask Me to help you to discover new ways of loving Me? Be one with me. Be one with Me. Be one with Me.” 63
“A presence . . . How much there is in a presence! You do everything—work, prayers, thinking, talking—just as though I were there, and I actually am there. Don’t you find this infinitely wonderful? Picture Me as a living being, loving you more than you could ever imagine even in your deepest longing. And keep before you the thought that this living being who gave His life for you is waiting with infinite yearning for the moment of our Meeting. Wouldn’t you show Him your impatience too? And your joy? “Picture Me often this way, as a real person, not just someone near you, but actually in you. One whose presence never leaves you. A presence . . . what a fountain of joys! And a beloved Presence too, as precious as life itself. 141
“Fix it firmly in your mind that this presence of Me in you is not an allegory or a fantasy or a metaphor. It’s not a story you listen to or something that might have happened to someone else. It has to do with you and Me. It has to do with a reality to be lived. “Then live with assurance and gladness. You will find so much happiness in this and you will give Me so much joy. Greet Me in you often in your own way, in all sorts of ways. I’ll love you in every one of these ways of yours. “Run after Me in you. Never give up the chase. Seek Me as Father, bridegroom, Savior. See Me looking at you. You know I’m waiting for you. Don’t be heedless of the moments. Take a flying leap in your free thinking, just as you would if someone said, ‘The gates of heaven are wide open.’ Heaven is Myself. And it is I who am in you. Do you thoroughly grasp this? “The saints live for Me alone. Get used to living now as you will later on among the all-joyous ones. Make an effort. Come out of your five senses. Seek fellowship with Me in your heart-centre. Submit every earthly tie to Me, since there is still time and since it would please Me. There are always two paths, one that goes down toward selfish distractions and one that goes up to Me, for Me. The choice is yours: either you or I. Ask the saints to help you to come very close to the One who loves you so much and to make your home in Him. You know of course that you can go in without knocking? Aren’t we both at home together?” 319
“Oneness. I come back to this thought again and again. Why do you live all alone when you can be in Me at every moment? In Me: that’s heaven itself without the face-to-face vision and the rapture. Then practice this at-onement… Act just as though you could see Me. It’s such good practice for your faith. And faith brings hope and love.” 140

“Invite Me often to be present in your life, as though you gave Me a ticket for a concert. And keep Me a place of honour in the front row, as if you were concerned that I miss nothing of the spectacle, this spectacle of your daily acts, all lived for Me.” 342
“Get used to spending hours in love, walking with love, resting for love. And at last, you will come to death and it will be for love that you will die. Prove your love for Me by the help you give your neighbour, keeping in mind that your neighbour is Myself and that your neighbour takes up more than half of life.” 156
Simplify everything in love. Let love be the mainspring of all your actions. Believe and hope with your heart. You will comfort Me for all the hatred. And the more you love, the more you will want to love. Set aside a quarter of an hour a day for love, for nothing else but love. 247
