• Confirmation – confirmare – “to strengthen” = the Holy Spirit strengthens us in 3 ways: (1) in relationship with Jesus, (2) to defend the faith, (3) to spread the faith.
• We need the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit – the Spirit never comes empty handed! always comes bearing gifts.
