That apparition was also memorable because a man brought his severely disabled three-year-old son to the hill. The boy’s name was Danijel Šetka, and he had been paralyzed and unable to talk from the time he was a baby. His parents came hoping for a healing. “Blessed Mother,” we said, “will this child ever speak? Heal him so that everyone will believe us.” Our Lady turned towards Danijel and looked at him for a long time with an expression of compassion and love. Finally, she said, “Let them believe strongly that he will get well.” We were perhaps a little disappointed that there was no immediate change visible in Danijel’s condition, but later his parents returned to the hill to give thanks to God. That night, Danijel had started walking and talking” (64).
